Join us for the inaugural meeting of the League of Science Fiction Explorers, Curious Owl Bookshop’s new Science Fiction Book Club.
Whether you’re fascinated by distant galaxies, time travel, artificial intelligence, alternate histories, first contact, or the technologies of tomorrow, you’ll find fellow explorers here. From Jules Verne and H.G. Wells to Andy Weir and James S.A. Corey, science fiction has always invited us to ask one simple question:
What if?
This first gathering is about building the club together.
We shall:
- Meet fellow science fiction readers.
- Share our favorite authors, books, and ideas.
- Discuss the kinds of science fiction we’d most enjoy exploring together.
- Choose our first books as a group.
- Help shape future meeting dates and the direction of the club.
- Whether you’ve been reading science fiction your entire life or are just discovering the genre, you’re warmly welcome.
There is no cost to participate. Just bring your curiosity.
