Welcome to The Society of Deductionists, Curious Owl Bookshop’s gathering place for readers who can’t resist a puzzle, a conspiracy, or an unexplained phenomenon.
Whether your passion is classic detective fiction, cozy mysteries, police procedurals, private investigators, espionage, legal thrillers, psychological suspense, historical mysteries, archaeological adventures, locked-room puzzles, crime fiction, true crime, paranormal investigations, cryptids, UFOs, haunted places, ancient mysteries, secret societies, or unsolved conspiracies, you’ll find fellow investigators around our table.
Our inaugural meeting is all about creating the club together. We’ll introduce ourselves, discuss the kinds of mysteries we most enjoy, decide how often we’d like to meet, and vote on the books we’ll read over the coming months. Everyone will have the opportunity to help shape the future of the Society.
The Society of Deductionists is open to anyone who enjoys a good mystery. There is no membership required and no fee to participate. Simply bring your curiosity, your favorite mystery recommendations, and your powers of deduction.
