About Jeff Crawford
Born in western North Carolina and raised in central Florida, he spent his late teens and early adulthood working as a cowboy before returning to North Carolina to attend college. These days, he runs a family business and writes suspense across several genres. With 67 novels to his name, he’s still typing.
His books range from Westerns following lawmen, gunslingers, and bounty hunters to stories of mysterious encounters and dangers beneath the waves. His recurring characters include Gabriel Ransom, Noah Weyland, Doc Hatcher, Marshal Micah Gold, and Ezra Whitehall, giving readers plenty of trails to follow and familiar faces to return to.
Away from the keyboard, he’s an avid outdoorsman, plays several musical instruments, and makes time for woodworking whenever he can. North Carolina is home, but his college sports loyalties remain firmly with the University of Florida.
His interest in storytelling extends beyond his own books. He contributes writing to a podcast and previously hosted one of his own, interviewing authors from around the world about the many ways to build suspense. After dozens of novels and conversations with fellow writers, there’s always another story waiting.
